Ok, so how do we do this? It's actually pretty simple:
A: Plan it Out
Pick a topic you want to write on. Do a little research on the net, from your textbook or from your notes and get an idea of what you want in there. Put it in your own words so other people like you can understand it. If we wanted wikipedia, we would just go there.
B: Write it
Start writing some ideas out. It doesn't have to be perfect at first. It doesn't even have to be 100% correct. That's the beauty of wikis. You can change it, other people can change it, it's a living document.
Steps to getting writing:
1. Sign in with the username and password LD gave you (if you want to change it, you can. If not, that's fine, I won't share it with anyone).
2. Under "favorite wikis", select "physick".
3. When you're ready to write a page, click on the plus sign next to "pages and files" over on the left side navigation pane.
4. Type in your page name and throw in some appropriate tags. Click "create".
5. Go crazy and type up your article. Include links, photos, video, etc, with the tools at the top.
C. Comment on other's work/make changes
From time to time, check out what others are writing. Evaluate it. Do you think it should be changed? Tell them. Be polite. You can make small corrections, but for something big, let the original author do the work. Just give them an idea of what might need tweaking.
And, when in doubt, give me a shout.
